Nicolas Jorelle is a composser of French movies soundtrack born on 23 November 1963 in Neuilly-Sur-Seine. He studied music in the Notre Dame de Paris choir and practiced drums and piano since his childhood. Composing became a passion. A volunteer autodidact he wanted to leave the school system and he studied harmony, writing and orchestration all by himself.
He also worked as a technician installing the musicians material in recording studios. Thanks to that job, he met great figures of the French musical scene : Michel Berger, France Gaal or Jean-Jacques Goldman.

After radio jingles or corporate films he finally had access to TV fiction. The meeting with Alexandre Jardin enables him to compose the “Fanfan” soundtrack, his first feature film. It was followed by more than 100 collaborations for the cinema, TV and advertising industry. He composes for movie makers like Alexandre Jardin, Dominique Ladoge, Marion Sarraut, Denis Malleval…
He is passionate about meeting and collaborating with film directors. Being at the service of a story, close to feelings and building a sound universe in collaboration with the final cut are his priorities : serving the movie.

He signed with Cristal Publishing the soundtrack of TV fictions “Les Vauriens”, “La Loi de mon Pays” and “Coup de Coeur” by Dominique Ladoge respectively in 2008, 2010, 2013. In 2009 he composed the music of “un viol” by Marion Sarraut.
He signed the soundtrack of the TV fiction “Meurtre à l’Abbaye de Rouen” in 2014 by Christian Bonnet with Frederic Dienfenthal. He also composed the “Dos au Mur” soundtrack by Aurélien Poitrimoult.

In 2004 he received the prize of music at the RITV in Reims for “Tout le monde rêve de voler” by Dominique Ladoge, and then another music prize in 2009 at the Fiction TV festival in La Rochelle for “Un viol” by Marion Sarraut.
